Walter Brucker & Co., Inc. is a General Contractor that specializes in commercial, institutional,
educational, and religious projects. We have completed many projects over the years ranging from
brand new college campus buildings to elementary school classroom renovations to small scale church
renovations.

Walter Brucker Sr. immigrated to the United States from Germany and came to settle in Philadelphia
with his family following World War I. Walter Brucker Builders was started in the late 1930’s when he
began constructing homes in the greater Philadelphia area. The business was suspended for some time
during WWII as many working men went off to fight. Following WWII and Walter Jr.’s graduation from
Lansdale business school, Walter Brucker Sr. and his son went into business and began working in
commercial construction. They incorporated in December of 1963, becoming Walter Brucker & Co., Inc.
For two decades Walter Jr. carried on the family business until his son Walter Brucker III came of age to
join him. Following his graduation from Shippensburg University, Walter Brucker III joined his father in
1982. The two worked together for 40 years until Walter Jr.’s passing in September of 2012. Today
Walter Brucker III is the sole owner and president of Walter Brucker & Co., Inc. He is joined by both his
wife and son. Julia Brucker, his wife, is both the corporations’ bookkeeper and office manager while his
son, Walter Kyle Brucker, has worked fulltime for the corporation as a project manager since 2010 and
now holds the title of Vice President.

Walter Brucker & Co., Inc. has employed many different people over the last 5 decades and we are
proud to say that several of our employees have been with us for well over 20 years.
We pride ourselves on performing as much of the work we have with our own forces while partnering
with a select group of trusted subcontractors. This allows us the opportunity to control the critical path
of a projects demanding schedule.
